Apple 8500 multipurpose tray A4 only

Well, the PPD seems OK, but the use of the multipurpose tray requires
the page region
to be specified instead (or in addition to) page size. 
As I don't know the details of your configuration (CUPS version, Winxx
version), I don't know
what really is going wrong. Could you dump a file going wrong just
before it is 
transferred to the printer?

PS: Dumping the final print stream is best done by enabling printing to
file and 
(temporarily) replacing the real backend by the file backend, leaving
everything else
unchanged.
