how do i get a printer added?

I was trying to set up IPP but my printer isn't listed in the Wizard. I have
the most current Mandrake packages installed. The printer does work as a
local printer but not as a networked printer. lpstat on the PC where the
printer is attached does show that the remote jobs were received.
