ghostscript update

I tried to build gs 8.11 with the patch and files in the espgs kit.
On linking there are a load of unresolved calls for cupsRasterOpen,
cupsRaster CLose, and others. Where are these routines? I can't find
them in cups, or espgs anywhere.

Also, gs 8.14 and 8.30 are now out there. And another side issue,
reading the blurb on the cups home page implies to me that gs is not
needed to print ps on a ps printer. So then the printing jobs fail,
though a raw print will work. Worse, if you have a standard non-cups
gs, the fialure does not give a clear error message as to what is
wrong. (Welcome to unix...)
