why OffendingCommand with specific font

Hi

I'm trying to understand why I can't print a document (from 
OpenOffice.org) containing a specific font. I tried using Times and 
Helvetica instead of the OO.o defaults (NimbusRoman, etc.) and then I 
could print the same document just fine.

Below is an excerpt from the error log in debug level logging.

The printer is a HP Laserjet 5000 PS. Cups is 1.1.20 from the mandrake 
10.0 install.

The most annoying part is that for the user, there's no error message to 
  realise that it went wrong and what exactly went wrong.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
