landscape printing from windoze sucks...

Hello everybody,

I am having an odd problem prining landscape:

The situation:
I am having a W2K Domain here with a samba 3 as PDC and 
samba-printserver via cups.

When printing from my linux box to my local cups which forwards the job 
to the remote samba which then forwards it to Cups on the server which 
forwards it to the printer (HP LaserJet 5Si/5Si MX PS) all works fine.
[confused? ]
linuxbox->local cups->sambaPDC->servers cups->jetdirect->printer

But when there is a windoze box with cups-printer driver installed 
printing landscape to the printserver I get an A4 page portrait _but_ 
only the lower part of it is printed on in landscape with half of the 
page cut off...
