Should "AuthType Digest" work with Windows/IE?

Hi!


Should "AuthType Digest" work with Windows (XP) IPP client and/or Internet Explorer? I can't seem to find any concrete information about this anywhere.

I have tried it with cups 1.1.19 and 1.1.20. It works fine with Mozilla on a Linux machine. Windows XP IPP client tells me that I don't have access to the printer and IE gives me the classic "The page cannot be displayed" message.

Has anybody gotten this to work?
