options on server and instances

thanks for the quick reply.

I tried

lpadmin -p asic1_300dpi -o media=A4,resolution=300

and

lpadmin -p asic1_300dpi -o media=A4

but this was not reflected on the web front end.  It still shows printer asic1_300dpi having a default media of Letter and resolution is still 600dpi.

I have just had a look at printers.conf and there is nothing in there either .

Any ideas ?
