access_log writes entry every 5 seconds

Hello all,

It seems like the a single line is written to access_log every 5 seconds.

For example :
localhost - - [31/Oct/2004:1:48:07 +0800] "POST / HTTP/1.1" 200 221

Is there a reason for that ?

Is there a common way to stop it beside setting the file name
to /dev/null :
LogFilePerm 0666
AccessLog /dev/null
