Epson Stylus CX6600

Ok, after finally getting ghostscript+ESP patches installed on this OpenBSD machine, i am finally ready to start printing, right?

wrong.  now i need to figure out why it won't print for me.

i add the printer:

$ sudo lpadmin -p cx6600 -E -v usb:/dev/ulpt0 -m C/escp2-cx6400.ppd.gz

and then i print:

$ lpr CGI.txt
$ lpq
cx6600 is ready and printing
Rank    Owner   Job     File(s)                         Total Size
active  wonko   11      CGI.txt                         4096 bytes

the printer makes some noise, but never prints.

http://www.4amlunch.net/cups/error_log is a snippet of the error log from me adding the printer and trying to print.

what is it that i'm doing wrong?  there is very little into available for cups, ppd and this particular printer.
