I actually have the same problems with model 1920.
The TraySelection-Code I used for Xerox N32 to select a special Bonner-page
has been published in this list.
It dosn't work.

Tray-Selecting via command lp -o media=A3  -d mynewkyoprint works

Be careful. 
Kyocera-PPDs are often set up with a too old Postscript Version.
Mozilla checks PSVersion an complains if it is .ie. (2014.108) and wants 2015
at least
