how to let users cancel their own jobs without a password?

Thanks very much for replying. However, this did not take care
of the problem. I made the change you suggested (AuthType None
instead of Basic) and restarted the server, and I still was
prompted for a passwd when I use the cups cancel command from
the command line. What else can I try?
