CUPS 1.1.22 + BJC-2000

I'm using a Canon BJC-2000 USB printer with CUPS 1.1.22. There is a big problem: *Everything* I print, including the test page, is scaled to about 1/2 width and 1/2 height and placed in the left top corner of the sheet. I tried bjc600 from foomatic and gimp-print, messed around with the settings in CUPS, tried anything I can image, but it simply doesn't work.

Can you give me any hints?


PS: The printer works perfectly in Windows XP, i.e. it's not the printer's fault.
