What's the default printing system in Mandrake community 10.1 ?

I just installed Mandrake community 10.1 as workstation.

How can I set up printers? I did ps -e | grep lpd and ps -e | grep cupsd, 
none of them are running.

What's the default printing spooler it's using then?

I though it's supporting cups and lprng. There's /usr/share/cups directory, 
but it has only one file (calibrate.ppm)

Foomatic is installed, but it can not be used alone (except for spooler less 
printing)

Anybody ideas?
