cups printing fails every monday.

i have the same problem on two different machines. Each monday, the client machine running rh9 and printing to a local dot matrix, or to a dot matrix on a print server, is non functional on monday morning.

there is no error report(s) visible in /var/log/messages. The printer appears normal using lpc and lpq. When a test job is run using lpr this appears. yet the users are adamant that their printing will not appear.

We have located a log entry which appears odd. the cups daemon seems to have restarted on each machine at 4:00 am monday.

Does anybody know why it might, and if it would affect the printer?
