Michael,

A discussion of filter installation, chaining, errors encountered 
therein would be nice. Beyond a decent .types and .convs discussion, the 
rev of the book I have (purchased from you about two months ago) doesn't 
offer much in the way of filter location, *cupsFilter usage (and 
importance) and errors one might expect along the way.

It would also be nice to know if there are *any* error codes one can 
return from a filter (or CUPS config settings) that won't lead CUPS to 
disable a printer queue in the event of filter failure.
