By default (like Fontmap.GS), the fontmap file only lists the plain
file names. In this case Ghostscript looks for the said font in all
the directories listed in GS_FGONTPATH.
But you may easily specify the full path name in the fontmap file,
like

/RotisSansSerif-ExtraBold 
(/PostScript/pfa/RotisSansSerif-ExtraBold.ps)   ;
