Forced duplex printing to specific printers?

Hello All,

I'm writing to findout if CUPS has a wee bit of functionality that I can't seem to find/make work using lpfilter. I'd like to be able to force all print jobs sent to a specific queue to be printed in duplex mode.

I host printing for several student labs and would like to save a little on paper costs. I haven't been able to find any specific filter examples that show how to force duplex printing. Is this possible at the server level or do I have to rely on the print client to manage these tasks?

Any suggestions/pointers will be greatly appreciated!
