Yes -- but it will do so for *all* printers.

To get that same effect for just one printer, put this line into its
PPD (located in /etc/cups/ppd/printername.ppd), within the first 30 or
so lines:

*cupsFilter: "application/postscript application/vnd.cups-raw -"
