[cups.general] A3+ printing with CP1700?

Which size is that exactly?

(A3 has 1190x842 points, or 297x420 mm, but A3+ is somehow undefined...)

Have you tried to use 

  lp -d printername -o PageSize=Custom.440x312mm /path/to/printjobfile
  lp -d printername -o PageSize=Custom.312x440mm /path/to/printjobfile

? (But you probably need to edit the "printername.ppd" to include this 
PageSize first.)
