Cups error

I'm trying to configure the printer on Gentoo Linux following the Gentoo Printing Guide (http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/printing-howto.xml). The printer seems to work at low level and CUPS seems to be installed correctly but when I try to print the test page from the web interface I get this error:
