I'm using Red Hat 8. It has a CUPS(1.1.15) & LPRng. Both are RPMs. I uninstall the RPM one, and install a tar(source 1.1.20). Compile ok, but CAN NOT work! The job not in queue and the printer is silent! Are there any methods to check out each part of CUPS?
