Help: Want to print RAW text with FF at end of job

Hi,

I need some help with CUPS.

I have recently installed a RH9.0 box running CUPS and I am having a few problems printing text files from our database server.

We have a number of high speed line printers (EPSON DFX8000s) which we print to from our database.  What I need to do is print to these (LPD) printers in plain text and append a formfeed to the end of each job.

I have tried the "EPSON" driver and this results in the printer printing the text, but it is small and unreadable (I think it is printing a rastor output).

I tried the "Text only printer" driver and this just prints the postscript source for any printjob that is sent to the printer (yes - even plain text files).

Lastly, I tried the RAW print driver and this prints nicely, but I cannot append a FF to the end of the job.

So, I am stuck - and I cannot roll out this server until it is fixed.  All I want to do is do what I have previously been able to do with a pre-CUPS linux release, print a RAW text file to the printer and end the job with a FF.

Can anyone please help ?
