Problems printing from XP's "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" application using CUPS driver

I am using the CUPS Windows Driver (5.0rc3) on Windows to print via
Samba to CUPS on a Linux server.

When printing JPEG images from Mozilla Firebird, MS Paint, or The GIMP
for Windows I get successful outputs. However, when I try to print any
JPEG from the default Windows XP image viewer program "Windows Picture
and Fax Viewer" it seems to generate a job, send it to the server, which
sends it to the printer, which sits there and chugs on it for a while,
and then it produces: a completely blank sheet of paper.

This seems to happen from every Windows XP box using the CUPS 5.0rc3
Windows printer driver and Windows Picture and Fax Viewer and also to at
least two different printer types (with two different PPDs). Any ideas
on why this program isn't generating printable output and what I might
be able to do to fix it?

BTW: When trying to print to a locally attached printer using a native
printer driver it works just fine. So it seems to be something specific
to the CUPS Windows driver and that program.

Thanks in advance for any help/ideas...

Regards,
Sean
