anoncvs failure

I wanted to try a build of the 1.2 source today.  From the website...


To grab the latest 1.2.x code, run the following commands:

export CVSROOT=:pserver:anoncvs at cvs.easysw.com:/home/anoncvs
cvs login (press ENTER when asked for a password)
cvs -z3 get -rv1_2_devel -d cups-1.2.x cups
cd cups-1.2.x
autoconf


I did this, and the null password gave me the following.

$ export CVSROOT=:pserver:anoncvs at cvs.easysw.com:/home/anoncvs
$ echo $CVSROOT
:pserver:anoncvs at cvs.easysw.com:/home/anoncvs
$ cvs login
Logging in to :pserver:anoncvs at cvs.easysw.com:2401/home/anoncvs
CVS password:
cvs [login aborted]: reading from server: Connection reset by peer


What am I missing?
