[cups.general] /invalidfont ERROR

I have installed the ESP Ghostscript 7.07.1 and when trying to print
via cups I get the error message below.  I am thinking this is
directly related to the FONT files either

A - not being installed on my system
B - font files not where there are supposed to be


after looking through the archives and in the INSTALL file, I have
noticed that there is a ./configure flag:

        --with-fontpath="/some/dir1:/some/dir2:...:/some/dirN"

            Set the font search path
            (default = /usr/share/ghostscript/fonts)

checking the GS install - I am positive that
/usr/share/ghostscript/fonts does not exist.  As to where (or even if
it is) on the system I am a bit blank.  I am not sure what I am
looking for in terms of the contents.  If someone has GS installed and
that directory exists, can you please let me know its contents?  orif
someone knows how to remedy this, that would be great.

Is there another menthod to get that directory in place at install time?
