lpstat not working

Check the following:

     host localhost
         -> should return 127.0.0.1

     strace lpstat -r
         -> post any errors

     ps ax | grep cupsd
         -> should show cupsd running

Also, check the /var/log/cups/error_log and access_log files to see
if the scheduler is getting the connection.
