CUPS automatically stops printers

I forgot to tell, i'm using RAW Printing only.
And I permit myself to edit the hpnpf.c file to rename the 
identification string to HPNPF/JetDirect, because if I didn't, 
cups would put 2 entries with the name "AppSocket/Jet direct".
