[cups.general] cannot invoke a interface script

I suspect your AS400 is doing a queue query first (the equivalent of a lpq command 
via the LPD protocol) but does not get or is not satisfied by the reply generated
by cups-lpd. AFIK (as for CUPS 1.1.19), the reply is tailored to match the lpq command
reply from the solaris lpr simulation.

I'd suggest to dig through the AS400 documentation to find out if your may configure
the AS400 spooler accordingly.
