Hi

I have a similar problem, with a usb Dell 1100 laser printer.

the deviceURI is usb://Dell/Laser%20Printer%201100

If I send a job when the printer is not powered on, the printer becomes stopped. Powering on the printer the printer remains stopped in cups. To restart printing I need to enable (from command line or web interface) the printer.

There's a way to avoid this, restarting automatically the printer (and printing from the queue) when it becomes powered on?

Thanks in advance for any reply

Bye
