backup/restore cups settings

Hi,
I have a working install of cups on FreeBSD.
I'd like to be able to backup the configuration files and restore them if/when something crashes or I have to re-install.

First, is this a good practice, or should I plod through setup/configuration all over again?

Second, if it's a good practice, which files need to be backed up?
I would assume /usr/local/etc/cups/cupsd.conf, and /usr/local/etc/cups/ppd/*

Any others?

TIA
