minimum idle time that no other new printjob is disrupting the current job

Hello,

in order to have CUPS printed automatically to an idle printer we
intend to use printer classes.

Now lets say, user A fires every 10 seconds a job to a printer.
During this time that printer should be "blocked" for other
printhobs.

Is there a way to define how many seconds a printer needs to be
idle before new printjobs from other users are printed out?

Thank's a lot for any input (I am pretty sure there a better
approaches).

Regards, John
