Installed printer , test page not printing

hi,

i m using the fedora Core4 ,kernel 2.6.14-1.1653_FC4
using printer canon Pixma ip1000
and followed the instruction

i installed the printer driver thru' the web interface,
http://localhost:631/

it works for a while , after i did a "yum update" to the
latest kernel as specified above , it no longer works,
i got some error in the /var/log/cups/error_log ,

error while loading shared libraries: libcnbpcmcm230.so: cannot enable
executable stack as shared object requires: Permission denied

any idea ?
