Web Interface hangs

Hi

Configuring cups with the web interface does not work anymore. I used to work some month ago. I recomplied cups 1.1.23 from scratch (new source) but I don't get it working.

The link http://localhost:631/ does work (I see the menu) and some of the static files are displayed (http://localhost:631/documentation.html) but all the 'dynamic' pages do not show up.

The browser just hangs and eventually shows a blank page.

http://localhost:631/admin does ask the username and password but no page is displayed.

Do I need some special user for cups (don't remember to have deleted one)?

Turning on debugging feature (in the log), I get the following output:

For me, it looks as the server process is killed, but why? Any help?
