Howto change Print resolution

Hi all,

i have a strange thing here at work. We have Documents as PS Files which were delivered by an updated Application.
Yes, that's the problem :-))
With the old Application the printout went ok, no problem.
But with new one the printout looks like, as it were printed
with 50 dpi.
Is it possible the tell cups that it has the document "retranslate"
to printout with 300 or more dpi?
Via the Web Interface (:631) i already set the Resolution to 600 DPI.

Any Ideas?
