I'm running Debian 3.1 and kernel 2.6.10 on an DEC Alpha SX164 with
an HP Officejet 720 attached to the parallel port.
The following is from my /var/log/dmesg:
parport0: PC-style at 0x3bc [PCSPP]
parport0: Printer, Hewlett-Packard OfficeJet Series 700
lp: driver loaded but no devices found
lp0: using parport0 (polling).
When I run "lpinfo -v" I receive no output. When I use "http://localhost:631", it
doesn't show my parallel port, and when I run "/usr/lib/cups/backend/parallel",
I receive a Segmentation fault.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what the problem is?
Jim
