PPD for class?

Still having trouble with Windows IPP printing to a class via SSL.

It appears to be some kind of issue with Windows expecting to receive all the printer attributes when trying to setup the queue pointing to a class.

Question: is it possible to specify a PPD for a class (eg, making it a "virtual printer")?  Our classes only ever contain the same model of printer so there should be no problems with mis-matches.
