I've the same error but I advanced.
I installed the windows drivers (although everywhere all advise that 
cups drivers are better !)
Just a WIN40 directory is created not w32x86 !
I've installed cups drivers for Windows and Adobe drivers in 
/usr/share/cups/drivers.
Any idea ? Thanks.
