The man page was written to point people at the CUPS web site
because a) we thought we'd have the driver done by now, and b)
because before we didn't have any reference and people constantly
asked where to find the drivers.

If you look at the current Windows driver page you will see the
following text:

Easy Software Products is currently working on a Windows 2000
driver extension to the Windows 2000 PostScript driver that is
supported by CUPS 1.1.21 and higher. We do not have a release
date for the new driver at this time, however you can still
use the Microsoft Windows 2000 driver files as documented in
the cupsaddsmb(8) man page to get most of the CUPS
functionality - only the job-billing and page-label options
are missing from the Microsoft driver.

So, copy the Windows 2000 driver files from any of your Win2k and
higher systems (they are part of the standard install) and then
re-run cupsaddsmb.
