That looks reasonable (though I wonder seeing cupsomatic, which si deprecated AFAIK,
and better replaced by foomatic-rip, but that is not the question).
It looks like the LPD server dislikes the order and/or the option codes of the control file - a situation
I have seen several times. I'd try to get a system's description of your lpd server and get more
info on what the control file should look like. And, maybe, the LPD server requires the data file first ...
