using lpoptions w/ MacOS X

Thank you Michael. But it is in fact a little more complicated. I don't
want to set system wide defaults, but I want the (Mac)-user to be able
to set his/her personal defaults. What makes it even more difficult: The
default I want to configure is an option not defined in any ppd-file.
This option is regarded by only one (self-defined) cups filter.

Still any ideas?
