Will 1.2 still stop disconnected queues without a setting in cupsd.conf?

It would be desirable to have a setting in 1.2's cupsd.conf that causes print_Device to behave similarly (but more elegantly) to the behaviour in http://www.easysw.com/cups/newsgroups.php?s5190+gcups.general+v5198

I was really getting annoyed at having to get into the web interface only to get my printer queue back online before I implemented that little change two days ago.

Can we expect something like that in 1.2?
