I'm not really sure. I'm using the ppds I used before. (copied them from my suse install)

root # ls -l /etc/cups/ppd/
total 728
-rw-rw-r-- 1 lp users 66784 Jul 19 2004 draft.ppd
-rw-rw-r-- 1 lp users 66789 Jul 19 2004 draft_gray.ppd
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 5639 Feb 9 14:55 epson_950.ppd
-rw-rw-r-- 1 lp users 66783 Jul 19 2004 high.ppd
-rw-rw-r-- 1 lp users 66788 Jul 19 2004 high_gray.ppd
-rw-rw-r-- 1 lp users 66785 Jul 19 2004 normal.ppd
-rw-rw-r-- 1 lp users 66790 Jul 19 2004 normal_gray.ppd
-rw-rw-r-- 1 lp users 66784 Jul 19 2004 photo.ppd
-rw-rw-r-- 1 lp users 66789 Jul 19 2004 photo_gray.ppd
-rw-rw-r-- 1 lp users 66787 Jul 19 2004 veryhigh.ppd
-rw-rw-r-- 1 lp users 66792 Jul 19 2004 veryhigh_gray.ppd

these correspond to the modes of the printer and they served me well before.
Is there something wrong with that?

I don't have any with gimp-print-ijs on my new system but there are a bunch in the suse backups.
what do I need to do?

cheers
Aron
