[cups.general] cups printing take too long to finished

HI,
could the experts help me?? in our office workstation running under linux
suse platform, and printing we use one server for printing (using cups) but
printing sometimes take too long to complete.

how we resolve this problem (to make the response time for printing
shortly), which part of cups setting (in server side or workstation should
we pay attention and make some change to solve this problem)
