Remote Printer Instances

Hello,
I am new in Cups (coming from LPRng).
I have setup a Cups server with 1 printer and 4 instances
(Duplex / No-Duplex / A size / B Size), this works perfectly.
Using 'lpstat -v' all the instances are seen on the server side,
but not on the client side, where I only see the printer but not
the 4 instances.
The client side printcap file (I need it) has also only one printer
defined.
Is this a normal situation ?
What am I missing ?
