This is not the root cause, and making this change will break all other
file formats.

The root cause of the problem is the pdftops filter, which was corrected
in CUPS 1.1.20.  The applicable STRs are 243 and 250.

In short, you need to upgrade for the fix and we will not include your fix
because it is incorrect.
