[STR New]

Regarding STR #1043: [ http://www.cups.org/str.php?L1043 ]
We (SUSE) noticed this problem either.

But to our knowledge it happens only, if small (!) files (like ASCII
documents, e.g. "/etc/motd") are sent to a (broadcasting/browsing) server
and then printed on a fast PS capable printer (HP LaserJet 4300 dtn).

IIRC: The problem seems to be in the communication: the client creates the
job several for the server. This comes from a response the server, where
he is telling the client that the job is not printed and therefore the
client is transmitting the job again and again and again.

The cups server runs with cups-1.1.20
The cups client runs with cups-1.1.23

I didn't debug this (yet). All I can say that we noticed this problem,
with ASCII text documents only; long files especially PS file seem to be
printed flawless.

For the sake of completeness :-) I attached the error_log from the client.
Please note that I had to stop the cupsd, because he printed the motd
around 60 times without stopping.
