I would like to try out CUPS 1.1.23 on my Mac OS X 10.3.9 box. Has anyone tried this, or is there a 'safe' way to do it without messing with Apple's install? I have already installed it under /usr/local, but don't know how to use that instead of the /usr Apple install. I'd rather overwrite Apple's install.
