I don't use Fedora, I have Mandriva, but it cann't be that different.
If you have two Fedora boxes, you have no need whatsoever for Samba. Samba
is for interworking with Windows.
You should be able to use the CUPS administration tool to define a remote
printer. Condition is of course that your local network is OK, you have the
same users on both machines and your users, also on the remote machine are
members of the lp-group.
