Hi,

I would like to know if anyone know how to print eacute (ascii char E9) using the windows chars map.

I can print the good ascii char (the file in /var/spool/cups contain the E9 ascii code) but the DOS char is printed.

You can see at this url what im talking about :
http://www.uqtr.ca/~delisle/Crypto/appendices/ascii.php

A sort of Oslash appears instead of an eacute.

I tried to change the default Charset with no result (utf-8, iso-8859-1, iso-8859-15)

My conf is linux CentOS release 4.1 (Final)
Kernel 2.6.9-5.0.3.ELsmp on an i686

cups-1.1.22-0.rc1.9.7

im using the text-only ppd and an HP 4200 LaserJet.

I hope im clear.

Thanks you for your help.
