[cups.general] Status 98 ?

Hallo,

This morning I had a problem with cups: a print job from NetScape
never finished and "lpq -a" hang. I tried to (re)start cuposd, but
got this error:
cupsd: Child exited with status 98!
cups: unable to start scheduler.

What's going on? I have not been able to find a clue in the docs.
